Dear God, I come to you with a heavy heart, for the proud have risen up against me. But I claim the promise that you have given us in Psalm 54:4, that you are my helper and the sustainer of my life. I pray that you will protect me from the company of violent men who seek after my soul, and that they will come to know you and hold you in high regard. Thank you for your promise to be with me always, and for your unfailing love and protection. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: God, the proud have risen up against me. A company of violent men have sought after my soul, and they don’t hold regard for you before them.
