Praying from 2 Peter 2:9 relating to Deliverance, Judgment, Righteousness

Dear Lord, I thank you for your promise that you know how to deliver the godly out of temptation and keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment. I claim this promise for myself and ask that you would help me to resist temptation and stay on the path of righteousness. Please keep me under your protection and guidance, and help me to live a life that is pleasing to you. Thank you for your love and faithfulness, and for always being there to help me in my time of need. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
