Praying from 2 Peter 2:10 relating to Sin, Rebellion, Pride

Dear Lord, please help us to resist the temptation to walk after the flesh and indulge in the lust of defilement. May we always respect and honor authority, and never despise those who have been placed in positions of leadership. Please give us the courage to speak truth in love, but never to speak evil of dignitaries or those in positions of power. Help us to be humble and self-controlled, always seeking to do your will and follow your ways. Amen.

Verse: but chiefly those who walk after the flesh in the lust of defilement and despise authority. Daring, self-willed, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries,
