Praying from 2 Corinthians 2:4. Themes: Love, Affliction, Comfort

Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that out of much affliction and anguish of heart, you have written to me with many tears, not to make me grieve, but to show me the love that you have so abundantly for me. I claim this promise today and ask that you would help me to feel your love in a tangible way. May your love fill my heart and overflow into the lives of those around me. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the comfort that comes from knowing that you are always with me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote to you with many tears, not that you should be made to grieve, but that you might know the love that I have so abundantly for you.
2 Corinthians 2:4

This is a Promise. The promise is that the reader might know the love that the writer has abundantly for them, despite the affliction and tears that went into writing the letter.
