Praying from 1 Thessalonians 4:13 relating to Hope, Resurrection, Comfort

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the promise that we don’t have to grieve like those who have no hope. We pray that you would help us to understand and not be ignorant concerning those who have fallen asleep. May we find comfort in the knowledge that they are with you and that we will see them again one day. Help us to hold onto this promise and not be overcome by grief. We trust in your love and faithfulness, and we thank you for the hope that we have in you.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: But we don’t want you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who have fallen asleep, so that you don’t grieve like the rest, who have no hope.
1 Thessalonians 4:13

This is a Promise. The verse promises that those who have fallen asleep in death will have hope, and encourages the reader to not grieve like those who have no hope.
