Praying from 1 John 5:16 relating to Brotherhood, Forgiveness, Sin

Dear God, please help me to be vigilant and watchful over my brothers and sisters in Christ. If I see them sinning a sin that does not lead to death, give me the courage to approach them and ask for their repentance. I pray that you will grant them life and forgiveness for their sins. However, if there is a sin leading to death, I ask for your wisdom and discernment to know how to handle the situation. Help me to trust in your sovereignty and not to make any requests that are not in accordance with your will. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life for those who sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I don’t say that he should make a request concerning this.
1 John 5:16

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to ask God for life for those who sin not leading to death. It also warns against making a request concerning sin leading to death.
