Praying from 1 John 3:8 relating to Sin, Devil, Redemption
Dear Lord, I come before you today acknowledging that I am a sinner and in need of your grace and mercy. I claim the promise that he who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. I thank you for revealing your Son to us, that he might destroy the works of the devil. I pray that you would help me to turn away from sin and to live a life that is pleasing to you. I ask for your strength and guidance as I seek to follow you and to do your will. Thank you for your love and for the promise of salvation through your Son. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
