Praying from 1 John 5:15 relating to Prayer, Faith, Answered petitions.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come before you today with a heart full of gratitude and thanksgiving. I am grateful for the promise in your word that if we know that you listen to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of you.

Lord, I claim this promise today and ask that you hear my prayer. I ask for your guidance and wisdom in all areas of my life. I pray for your provision and protection over my family, friends, and loved ones. I ask for your healing touch on those who are sick and suffering.

Father, I trust in your unfailing love and faithfulness. I know that you are a God who hears and answers prayers. I thank you for the assurance that whatever I ask of you, I will receive.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.
1 John 5:15

This is a Promise. The verse is assuring the reader that if they know God listens to them, then they can trust that their prayers will be answered.
