Praying from 1 John 2:5 relating to Love, Obedience, Assurance.
Dear God, I thank you for your perfect love that has been perfected in me as I keep your word. I declare that I am in you and I am confident in your love for me. Help me to continue to keep your word and to walk in your ways. Thank you for the assurance that comes from knowing that I am in you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: But God’s love has most certainly been perfected in whoever keeps his word. This is how we know that we are in him:
1 John 2:5
This is a Promise. The verse is stating that if someone keeps God’s word, then they can be assured that they are in Him and that God’s love has been perfected in them.
