Dear God, I thank you for the promise that you delight in those who delight in your law. I pray that you would help me to delight in your law after the inward person. May your word be a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Help me to meditate on your law day and night, that I may be like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Thank you for the joy and peace that comes from following your ways. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
