Praying from Hebrews 7:28 relating to Weakness, Perfection, High Priest

Father God, I thank you for the promise that the word of the oath appoints a Son forever who has been perfected. I claim this promise for myself and for all those who believe in your Son, Jesus Christ. I pray that we may always remember that the law appoints men as high priests who have weakness, but your Son, who is the perfect high priest, has been appointed forever. May we trust in him and his perfect sacrifice for our sins, and may we always look to him as our source of strength and salvation. Thank you for the gift of your Son, and for the promise that he will reign forever as our perfect high priest. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: For the law appoints men as high priests who have weakness, but the word of the oath, which came after the law, appoints a Son forever who has been perfected.
Hebrews 7:28

This is a Promise. The verse promises that the word of the oath appoints a Son forever who has been perfected, in contrast to the high priests appointed by the law who have weakness.
