Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that if you called them gods, to whom the word of God came, then the Scripture cannot be broken. I claim this promise over my life and ask that you would speak your word into my heart and mind. May I be receptive to your voice and obedient to your will. Help me to trust in your promises and to walk in faith, knowing that your word is true and unbreakable. Thank you for your love and faithfulness, and for the assurance that you are always with me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

This is a Promise. The verse is stating that if God called someone a god and gave them His word, then it cannot be broken.
