Dear Lord, I pray that my words and preaching may not rely on persuasive words of human wisdom, but on the demonstration of your Spirit and power. May my words be guided by your truth and may they bring glory to your name. Help me to rely on your strength and not my own, so that those who hear me may be drawn closer to you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
