Praying from 1 Peter 2:6 relating to Salvation, Faith, Christ’s Deity.

Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that is contained in Scripture. You have said, “Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, chosen and precious. He who believes in him will not be disappointed.” I believe in you, Lord, and I trust in your promises. I pray that you will help me to build my life upon this cornerstone, and that I will not be disappointed. I pray that you will guide me and lead me in all that I do, and that I will always put my faith and trust in you. Thank you for your love and your grace, and for the promise that you have given me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: Because it is contained in Scripture,“Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, chosen and precious. He who believes in him will not be disappointed.”
1 Peter 2:6

This is a Promise. The verse promises that those who believe in the chosen and precious chief cornerstone laid in Zion will not be disappointed.
