Dear Lord, I claim the promise that you have given us in your word that we will be hated by all men for your name’s sake. I pray that I may have the courage and strength to stand firm in my faith, even when faced with persecution and opposition. Help me to remember that this is a sign that I am following in your footsteps and that I am on the right path. May I never be ashamed of your name, but always be willing to proclaim it boldly and fearlessly. Thank you for the promise that you will be with me always, even in the midst of trials and tribulations. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
