Prayer based on Acts 7:4. Themes: Faith, Obedience, Providence.
Dear God, just as you moved Abraham from the land of the Chaldaeans to Haran and then to the land where we are now living, I pray that you will also move me to the place where you want me to be. I claim the promise that you will guide me and lead me to the right path, just as you did for Abraham. Help me to trust in your plan for my life and to have faith that you will provide for me every step of the way. Thank you for your faithfulness and for always keeping your promises. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: Then he came out of the land of the Chaldaeans and lived in Haran. From there, when his father was dead, God moved him into this land where you are now living.
Acts 7:4
This is a Promise. The verse is describing how God moved the person to a new land after their father died. There is no command given to the reader.
