Praying from Luke 15:18. Themes: Repentance, Forgiveness, Redemption.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before you with a heavy heart, acknowledging that I have sinned against you and in your sight. I am sorry for the wrongs I have done and the ways I have fallen short of your expectations.
I pray that you would give me the strength and courage to get up and go to you, just as the prodigal son did. Help me to confess my sins and seek your forgiveness, knowing that you are a loving and merciful God who is always ready to receive me with open arms.
Thank you for your grace and forgiveness, and for the promise of new beginnings. May I always strive to live a life that honors you and brings glory to your name.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
