Praying from 1 Peter 4:3 relating to Repentance, Holiness, Idolatry.
Dear Lord, we come before you humbly and acknowledge that we have spent enough of our past time doing the desires of the Gentiles. We confess that we have walked in lewdness, lusts, drunken binges, orgies, carousings, and abominable idolatries. We ask for your forgiveness and mercy. Help us to turn away from these sinful ways and to walk in your light. Strengthen us to resist temptation and to live a life that is pleasing to you. May we be filled with your Holy Spirit and guided by your word. We pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Verse: For we have spent enough of our past time doing the desire of the Gentiles, and having walked in lewdness, lusts, drunken binges, orgies, carousings, and abominable idolatries.

This is a Command. The verse is commanding the reader to stop engaging in sinful behavior and turn away from idolatry.
