Prayer based on Acts 11:18. Themes: Repentance, Gentiles, Life

Dear Heavenly Father,

As I come before you today, I am reminded of the promise in Acts 11:18 that you have granted repentance to life for the Gentiles. I claim this promise for myself and for all those who have yet to come to know you.

May we all hear your voice and turn from our sinful ways, seeking forgiveness and new life in you. May we glorify you with our lives and be a shining light to those around us.

Thank you for your grace and mercy, and for the gift of salvation through your son Jesus Christ. May we never take this gift for granted, but always strive to live in a way that honors you.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: When they heard these things, they held their peace and glorified God, saying, “Then God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance to life!”
Acts 11:18

This is a Promise. The verse is stating that God has granted repentance to life to the Gentiles.
