Praying from Romans 8:36. Themes: Suffering, Persecution, Sacrifice
Dear Lord, I claim the promise that even as it is written, “For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” I pray that I may have the strength and courage to endure any persecution or suffering that may come my way because of my faith in you. Help me to remember that I am not alone in my struggles and that you are always with me. May I be counted among those who are willing to lay down their lives for your sake, knowing that in doing so, I will gain eternal life with you. Thank you for the promise of your love and protection, even in the midst of trials and tribulations. Amen.
