Prayer based on Acts 5:41. Themes: Suffering, Joy, Persecution.

Dear Lord,

I pray that I may have the same courage and faith as those who departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for Your name. Help me to remember that suffering for Your sake is a privilege and an honor, and that You have promised to be with me always, even in the midst of trials and tribulations.

May I never be ashamed of Your name, but always be willing to stand up for what is right and true, even if it means facing persecution or ridicule. Give me the strength to endure whatever hardships may come my way, knowing that You are with me and that Your love and grace are sufficient for all my needs.

Thank You for the promise that those who suffer for Your name will be blessed and rewarded in heaven. Help me to keep my eyes fixed on that eternal reward, and to live my life in a way that brings glory and honor to You.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
