Dear God, I pray that I may not live after the flesh, but instead live by the Spirit. Help me to put to death the deeds of my body that are not pleasing to you. May I find life in you and your Spirit, and may I always seek to follow your will. Thank you for your grace and mercy, and for the promise of eternal life through your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Verse: For if you live after the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
Romans 8:13
