Praying from Romans 7:18. Themes: Sin, Flesh, Redemption.
Dear Lord, I come before you humbly acknowledging that in my flesh, there is no good thing. I confess that I am weak and prone to sin, and that my desires often lead me astray. But I also know that you are a God of mercy and grace, and that you have the power to transform me from the inside out. So I ask that you would help me to overcome my sinful nature and to do that which is good in your sight. Give me the strength to resist temptation and to follow your will, even when it is difficult. Help me to rely on your Holy Spirit to guide me and to empower me to live a life that honors you. Thank you for your love and your faithfulness, and for the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Amen.
Verse: For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh, dwells no good thing. For desire is present with me, but I don’t find it doing that which is good.
