Dear God, help me to understand and accept that when I do things that I don’t desire, I am still following your law. Help me to trust that your law is good and that everything happens for a reason. Give me the strength to surrender my desires to you and to follow your will. Amen.

Verse: But if what I don’t desire, that I do, I consent to the law that it is good.
Romans 7:16

This is a Command. The verse is commanding the reader to consent to the law being good, even if they do things they don’t desire.
