Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that we can rejoice in our sufferings because we know that suffering produces perseverance. Help me to hold onto this promise and to trust in your plan for my life, even when I am going through difficult times. Give me the strength to persevere and to keep my eyes fixed on you. May my suffering be used for your glory and may it produce in me a steadfastness that can only come from you. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the hope that we have in you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
