Praying from Romans 5:4. Themes: perseverance, character, hope
Dear Lord, I pray for perseverance in all areas of my life. May I never give up or lose hope, but instead, may I press on towards the goal you have set before me. I ask that you would help me to develop a proven character, one that is steadfast and true, even in the face of adversity. And as I grow in character, I claim the promise of hope that you have given me. May my hope in you never waver, but instead, may it grow stronger with each passing day. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the promise of a bright future. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

This is a Promise. The verse is stating that through perseverance and proven character, one can have hope.
