Prayer based on Psalms 81:9. Themes: Monotheism, Worship, Exclusivity

Dear God, I pray that you help me to keep your commandment to have no strange god in me and to not worship any foreign god. Please guide me to always put you first in my life and to trust in your love and grace. Help me to resist the temptation to turn to other gods or idols for comfort or security. May my heart and mind be fully devoted to you, and may I always honor and worship you alone. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: There shall be no strange god in you, neither shall you worship any foreign god.
Psalms 81:9

This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to not have any strange or foreign gods and to not worship them.
