Dear Lord, I come before you today seeking understanding. I know that understanding is a fountain of life to one who has it, and I desire to have it in abundance. Please grant me the wisdom and discernment to understand your ways and your will for my life. Help me to seek your truth and to walk in your ways. I claim the promise that understanding is a fountain of life, and I trust that you will pour out your wisdom upon me. I pray that I will not be punished for my foolishness, but that I will be guided by your wisdom and grace. Thank you for your love and mercy, and for the promise of understanding that brings life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
