Dear Lord,

Help me to understand that true greatness comes from serving others. May I have a heart that desires to serve and not to be served. Help me to be a bondservant to those around me, putting their needs before my own. May I follow in the footsteps of Jesus, who came not to be served but to serve.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: Whoever desires to be first among you shall be your bondservant,
Matthew 20:27
