Praying from Matthew 11:14 relating to Elijah, Prophecy, Willingness
Dear Lord, I come before you with a willing heart to receive the promise of Elijah who is to come. I believe that you are faithful to your word and that you will fulfill all that you have promised. I claim this promise today and ask that you would prepare my heart to receive all that you have in store for me. Help me to be open and receptive to your leading and guidance, and to walk in the path that you have set before me. Thank you for your love and faithfulness, and for the promise of Elijah who is to come. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: If you are willing to receive it, this is Elijah, who is to come.

This is a Promise. The verse is promising that the person being referred to is Elijah who is to come. There is no command given to the reader.
