Prayer based on Matthew 26:24. Themes: Betrayal, Prophecy, Consequences.
Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that the Son of Man goes even as it is written of him. I trust in your plan and purpose for my life, knowing that you are in control. I pray that I may never be the one to betray the Son of Man, and that I may always remain faithful to you. Help me to live a life that honors you and brings glory to your name. May I never bring woe upon myself by betraying your Son. Thank you for the promise that it would be better for that man if he had not been born. I claim this promise and pray that I may always walk in your ways. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: The Son of Man goes even as it is written of him, but woe to that man through whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would be better for that man if he had not been born.”
This is a Promise. The verse states that it would be better for the betrayer of the Son of Man if he had not been born.
