Praying from Philemon 1:16 relating to Brotherhood, Freedom, Beloved
Dear Lord, I thank you for the promise that I am no longer a slave, but more than a slave, a beloved brother/sister to you. I claim this promise over my life and declare that I am free from the bondage of sin and death. I thank you for the love and grace that you have shown me, and I pray that I may always remember that I am your beloved child. Help me to live my life in a way that honors you and brings glory to your name. May I be a shining example of your love and grace to those around me, both in the flesh and in the Lord. Thank you for the privilege of being called your child and for the hope that I have in you. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
