Heavenly Father, I claim the promise that you declared over your beloved Son, Jesus Christ. Just as the Holy Spirit descended upon him in bodily form like a dove, I pray that your Spirit would also come upon me and fill me with your presence. May your voice speak over me, declaring that I am your beloved child and that in me, you are well pleased. Help me to live a life that honors you and brings glory to your name. Thank you for your love and grace. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Verse: and the Holy Spirit descended in a bodily form like a dove on him; and a voice came out of the sky, saying “You are my beloved Son. In you I am well pleased.”
Luke 3:22

This is a Promise. The verse is a declaration from God the Father to Jesus, affirming his identity as the beloved Son and expressing his pleasure in him. There is no command given to the reader.
