Dear Lord, as we come before you today, we ask that you overshadow us with your bright and glorious presence. May your voice speak to us clearly and guide us in all that we do. We pray that we may always listen to your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, and follow his teachings. Help us to please you in all that we do, and may we always strive to live according to your will. We ask this in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them. Behold, a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to him.”
