Praying from Matthew 8:8 relating to Faith, Humility, Healing
Dear Lord, I come before you humbly, acknowledging that I am not worthy of your grace and mercy. But I claim the promise that if I have faith in you, you will heal me and those I love. Just as the centurion believed that your word alone could heal his servant, I too believe that your word has the power to heal me. So I ask that you speak the word of healing over me and my loved ones, and restore us to health and wholeness. Thank you for your love and faithfulness, and for the promise of your healing power. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: The centurion answered, “Lord, I’m not worthy for you to come under my roof. Just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
Matthew 8:8
This is a Promise. The centurion expresses faith in Jesus’ ability to heal his servant from a distance, without physically coming to his home.
