Dear Lord, I come to you today just like the leper did, begging for your mercy and healing. I kneel down before you, knowing that you have the power to make me clean. I claim the promise that you are the same yesterday, today, and forever, and that you are willing and able to heal me. I trust in your love and compassion, and I ask that you touch me with your healing hand. Thank you for your faithfulness and for the promise of your healing power. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
Verse: A leper came to him, begging him, kneeling down to him, and saying to him, “If you want to, you can make me clean.”
Mark 1:40
This is a Promise. The leper is expressing faith that Jesus has the power to heal him if he is willing to do so. Jesus responds by saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” This is a promise of healing to the leper.
