Praying from Matthew 4:6 relating to Temptation, Scripture, Protection.
Heavenly Father, I come before you today claiming the promise that you will command your angels concerning me. Your word says that on their hands they will bear me up, so that I don’t dash my foot against a stone. Lord, I believe that you are the Son of God and I trust in your protection and provision. I pray that you will guide me and keep me safe from harm. Help me to always trust in your promises and to have faith in your unfailing love. Thank you for your grace and mercy, and for the assurance that you are always with me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Verse: and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written,‘ He will command his angels concerning you,’ and,‘ On their hands they will bear you up, so that you don’t dash your foot against a stone.’”

This is a Promise. The verse is referencing a promise that God will command his angels to protect and bear up the Son of God.
