Prayer based on Matthew 21:44. Themes: Judgment, Salvation, Humility.
Dear Lord, we come before you humbly and acknowledge that you are the cornerstone of our faith. We pray that we may never stumble or fall away from you, but if we do, we ask that you break us and mold us into the people you want us to be. We also pray for those who have not yet accepted you as their Savior, that they may come to know you before it is too late. We ask for your protection and guidance, knowing that those who reject you will be scattered like dust. Help us to always keep our eyes fixed on you and to trust in your unfailing love. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Verse: He who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, but on whomever it will fall, it will scatter him as dust.”
Matthew 21:44
This is a Command. The verse is warning the reader that if they fall on the stone (Jesus), they will be broken to pieces. This can be interpreted as a call to repentance and surrender to Jesus.
