Dear Lord, just as those who came to John the Baptist were baptized in the Jordan and confessed their sins, I come before you today to ask for forgiveness. I acknowledge my mistakes and shortcomings, and I ask for your mercy and grace to wash away my sins. Help me to turn away from my past and live a life that is pleasing to you. Thank you for your love and forgiveness. Amen.
