Praying from Matthew 3:7 relating to Repentance, Judgment, Warning
Dear Lord, as I come before you today, I am reminded of the words of John the Baptist when he saw the Pharisees and Sadducees coming for his baptism. Help me to recognize the warning signs of sin and to flee from the wrath to come. May I not be like the offspring of vipers, but rather may I be a child of God, seeking to do your will and follow your ways. Thank you for your grace and mercy, and for the opportunity to turn away from sin and towards you. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

This is a Command. The verse commands the Pharisees and Sadducees to repent and flee from the coming wrath.
