Dear Lord, I thank you for your promise to send prophets, wise men, and scribes to guide and lead us. I claim this promise and ask that you send these messengers to us, to speak your truth and wisdom into our lives. Help us to receive their message with open hearts and minds, and to follow your will for our lives. May we never be among those who reject your messengers, but instead may we honor and respect them as your chosen vessels. Thank you for your faithfulness and love. Amen.

Verse: Therefore, behold, I send to you prophets, wise men, and scribes. Some of them you will kill and crucify; and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city,
Matthew 23:34
