Prayer based on Matthew 23:12. Themes: Humility, Exaltation, Pride
Dear Lord,
I come before you with a humble heart, recognizing that I am nothing without you. I submit myself to your will and your ways, knowing that you are the one who exalts and humbles.
I ask for your grace to help me humble myself before you and others, to put aside my pride and selfish desires. I trust in your promise that whoever humbles themselves will be exalted.
May your Holy Spirit guide me in all that I do, so that I may live a life that brings glory to your name. Thank you for your love and mercy, and for the promise of exaltation that comes from humbling ourselves before you.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
