Dear God, we come before you today acknowledging that righteousness exalts a nation. We pray that you would help us to live lives that are pleasing to you and that honor your commands. May we be a people who seek after righteousness and justice, and may we be known for our love and compassion towards others. We also ask for your forgiveness for the times when we have sinned and fallen short of your glory. Help us to turn away from sin and to walk in the light of your truth. We pray that you would bless our nation and guide our leaders to make decisions that are in line with your will. May we be a people who bring honor and glory to your name. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
