Heavenly Father, we come before you today claiming the promise that “Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh, the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.” We declare that our nation belongs to you and that we choose to follow you as our God. We ask that you would guide our leaders and our people to seek your will and your ways in all that we do. May we be a people who honor you and live according to your word. We thank you for choosing us as your own inheritance and we pray that we would be faithful stewards of all that you have entrusted to us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Verse: Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh, the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.
Psalms 33:12
