Dear Lord, I come before you today claiming the promise that the light of the righteous shines brightly. I pray that you would help me to walk in your ways and to live a life that is pleasing to you. May my light shine brightly for all to see, so that others may be drawn to you. I also pray for those who are living in darkness, that they may come to know you and experience the light of your love. Thank you for the promise that the lamp of the wicked is snuffed out. I trust in your justice and your righteousness, and I pray that you would bring an end to all evil and injustice in this world. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
