Praying from Matthew 5:15 relating to Light, Visibility, Purpose
Dear God, please help me to be a light in this world. May I never hide my faith or the good works that you have called me to do. Instead, may I shine brightly for all to see, bringing hope and love to those around me. Help me to be a beacon of your grace and mercy, illuminating the darkness and pointing others towards you. May my light shine so brightly that it cannot be hidden, and may it bring glory to your name. Amen.
Verse: Neither do you light a lamp and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house.
Matthew 5:15
This is a Command. The verse commands the reader to not hide their light but to let it shine for all to see.
