Dear Lord, we thank you for the promise that the day of the Lord comes like a thief in the night. We claim this promise and trust that you will come at the perfect time, just as you have promised. Help us to always be ready and prepared for your return, so that we may be found faithful and worthy to enter into your kingdom. May we live each day with the knowledge that you could come at any moment, and may we use our time wisely to serve you and share your love with others. We pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
