Praying from 1 Thessalonians 5:3 relating to Judgment, Warning, Imminence.
Father God, I claim the promise in your word that when the world is saying “Peace and safety,” sudden destruction will come upon them like birth pains on a pregnant woman, and they will in no way escape. I trust in your sovereignty and your plan for the world, and I pray that you would protect me and my loved ones from the destruction that is to come. Help me to be vigilant and prepared for your return, and to share the hope of salvation with those around me. Thank you for your promise of ultimate victory and eternal life with you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
