Dear Lord,

You have given us the light of your truth and love. Help us to never hide it away or keep it to ourselves. May we always be willing to share your light with others, and to let it shine brightly for all to see. Give us the courage and strength to put your light on a stand, so that it may illuminate the darkness and bring hope to those who are lost. We pray this in your holy name. Amen.

Verse: He said to them,“Is a lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Isn’t it put on a stand?
