Dear God, thank you for the beautiful gift of marriage. Help us to remember that when we enter into this covenant, we are leaving behind our old lives and becoming one with our spouse. May we always strive to honor and cherish each other, putting our relationship with our spouse above all others. Guide us in building a strong and lasting marriage that reflects your love and grace. Amen.

Verse: and said, ‘ For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall be joined to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh?’
Matthew 19:5
